Product introduction:
This product is developed according to the environmental protection standard of the People's Republic of China "HJ637-2018" for the determination of petroleum and animal and plant oils "infrared spectroscopy", for the determination of total oil, petroleum, animal and plant oils in water content of the special infrared spectrometer.
Mainly application:
1.The environmental protection department shall monitor the oil content in surface water, groundwater, domestic sewage and industrial wastewater;
2. Oil content monitoring of circulating water and sewage in petrochemical, chemical and smelting industries;
3. Monitoring of oil content in circulating water and sewage in power plants, steel plants, machinery manufacturing and other industries;

Technical principle:
According to hj637-2018 national standard, oil substances in water were extracted with tetrachloroethylene or carbon tetrachloride, and then the solution of oil and tetrachloroethylene or carbon tetrachloride was separated by anhydrous sodium sulfate to isolate impurities and water, and the oil content of the total extract was determined. At the same time, the extraction fluid can be adsorbed by magnesium silicate, after the removal of polar substances such as animal and vegetable oil, the determination of petroleum. The contents of the total extract and petroleum were calculated from the absorbance A2930, A2960 and A3030 at the spectral band of 2930cm-1 (the stretching vibration of the c-h bond in the CH2 group), 2960cm-1 (the stretching vibration of the c-h bond in the CH3 group) and 3030cm-1 (the stretching vibration of the c-h bond in the aromatic ring), respectively. The content of animal and vegetable oil is calculated according to the difference between total extract and petroleum.
