Product Overview:

The toxicity of chromium is related to its existence of valence, usually considered that the toxicity of hexavalent chromium is 100 times higher than that of trivalent chromium, and hexavalent chromium is more easily absorbed by the human body and accumulated in the body, leading to liver cancer. Therefore, China has set hexavalent chromium as one of the indicators for the implementation of total control.
The analyser is capable of long-term unattended automatic continuous operation according to the on-site settings, and is widely used in industrial pollution sources discharging wastewater, industrial process wastewater, industrial sewage treatment plant wastewater, municipal sewage treatment plant wastewater and other occasions. According to the complexity of the field test conditions, optional pre-treatment system to ensure that the test process is reliable, accurate test results, to fully meet the needs of different occasions on-site.
 

Measurement method:
This product adopts the method of spectrophotometric colourimetry of dibenzoyl dihydrazine, after mixing the water sample and conditioner, hexavalent chromium reacts with the indicator to generate a colourful complex under the presence of acidic environment and indicator, and the analyser detects the change of this colour and converts this change into hexavalent chromium value to output. The amount of coloured complex generated is equivalent to the amount of hexavalent chromium. This method is applicable to wastewater with hexavalent chromium in the range of 0~30mg/L.
