Product Overview:

Although iron is an essential trace element. Iron itself does not have toxicity, but when excessive intake or accidentally take too much iron products may also lead to iron poisoning. Acute iron poisoning occurs mostly in children, and chronic iron poisoning occurs mostly in middle-aged and elderly people over 45 years old, with males predominating. Iron poisoning has also been reported to induce epilepsy.
The analyser is capable of unattended automatic continuous operation for a long time according to the site settings, and is widely used in industrial pollutant discharge wastewater, industrial process wastewater and other occasions. According to the complexity of on-site testing conditions, optional pre-processing system can be used to ensure the reliability of the testing process, test results are accurate, to fully meet the needs of different occasions on-site.
 

Measurement method:
This product adopts the spectrophotometric colorimetric method to determine the sample in a certain acidity conditions, the ferrous ions in the sample and the indicator to generate red compatibility, the analyzer detects this colour change, and this change is converted into iron value output. The amount of the generated coloured compound is equivalent to the amount of iron.
This method is applicable to wastewater within the range of 0~5mg/L of iron.
