Introduction:
Nickel, a silver-white metal, is hard and brittle, stable in the air at room temperature, is an inactive element. Nickel is easy to react with nitric acid, but with dilute hydrochloric acid or dilute sulfuric acid. Nickel exists in many kinds of ores in nature and often binds to sulfur, arsenic or antimony, mainly from chalcopyrite, nickel chalcopyrite and so on. Nickel may be found in waste water from mining, smelting, alloy production, metal processing, electroplating, chemical industry, ceramics and glass.
The analyzer can work automatically and continuously for a long time without attendance according to the site settings. It is widely used in industrial pollution source discharge waste water, industrial process waste water, industrial sewage treatment plant waste water, municipal sewage treatment plant waste water and other occasions. According to the complexity of site test conditions, the corresponding pretreatment system can be selected to ensure the test process is reliable,test results are accurate, and fully meet the needs of different occasions.

Product principle:
 This product is determined by spectrophotometric method. After mixing water sample and buffer, nickel is converted into their own high valence ions in the presence of strong oxidant. In the presence of buffer solution and indicator, the high valence ions react with indicator to form a chromophore complex. The analyzer detects the change of this color and converts the change into a nickel value. The amount of colored complex is equivalent to the amount of nickel.
This product is a single factor parameter test and analysis instrument.
This method is suitable for waste water of nickel in the range of 0~30 mg/L.
